When my kids were teenagers, I used to follow up a stern talk with “don’t be that guy.” This falls in that category. Great video. Sometimes the simplest advice is the best.

Well Luke in my old fashioned way of thinking it have found that the one thing that most younger generation anglers lack that would help them tremendously in any life situation let alone anything fishing and thats one simple ancient word PATIENCE!!! In this crazy everything having to be achieved now without working for it and or appreciating it i know for a fact that with just a little more patience one’s mind has a tendency of making less mistakes then someone who is always in a hurry and has a forever now attitude when someone is always in a rush to get things done we all have a tendency of forgetting things and mistakes and frustration sets in acomplishing absolutely nothing then anger takes over and then in alot of circumstances one can sometimes get into trouble where as one that thinks before he or she does things and sticks to a logical plan especially if a difficult task requires practice usually that person’s experience in the situation has little to no mistakes allowing more joy and better confidence in next times outing because like the old saying goes practice makes perfect and while none of us will be truely perfect we will certainly be better off then the individual who is always in a hurry and truelly never really stops and smell the roses so to speak because of them thinking that there’s never enough time enough said thanks for the info and all you do🤔😉👍

I always thought you should hold the wheel on the bottom and turn the wheel where you want the trailer to go!!! It has worked for me for all types of trailers for 53+ years.

I always think, “turn left to go right/turn right to go left… “Turn towards the danger” is even simpler, good tip!

I enjoyed the video, great advice for all. I spent and spend time with children and grandchildren teaching them about getting the boat ready before we ever start backing up. Thanks and Tight Lines!🎣🎣🎣
