This NEW Tool Said Fish These 3 Spots. Here’s What Happened.

Helllooo Salt Strong Nation!

We just put Smart Fishing Spots—a tool built specifically to help you find and catch more fish—to the ultimate test. We fished a brand-new area with zero local intel and no past experience. Just this powerful tool and our gear… and the results spoke for themselves.

We picked three zones using the Smart Fishing Spots system, fished them exactly as the Game Plan suggested, and the results? Pretty dang impressive.

Lures Mentioned:

How Well Did It Work?

Here’s what we learned:

  • Smart Fishing Spots nailed the fish zones—we saw and caught fish right where the system predicted.
  • The AI Game Plan gave perfect lure recommendations—we followed it, and it worked!
  • Stealth and positioning made a huge difference—spooking fish = no bites.
  • Data updates every 15 minutes, so conditions stay fresh and accurate.

Why Smart Fishing Spots?

This app removes the guesswork by giving you:

  1. Pre-picked hot zones ranked based on tides, weather, and structure.
  2. AI-driven game plans that suggest the best lures and tactics for the day.
  3. Catch logging & historical data—so you can track what works over time.
  4. Real-time updates every 15 minutes for the most accurate fishing intel.

What We Caught & Where

We fished three zones—caught snook, redfish, and jacks in two of them. The third? We saw fish but couldn’t get on the prime spot (someone beat us to it!).

Lesson learned: The system works, but stealth and timing matter!

Sorry for the late post but noticed the AI suggestions make use of Celsius temps. Too late for this old timer to convert. Is there a way to modify the settings to reference Fahrenheit instead?

There currently isn’t, but we can add a setting for that. I’ll go ahead and submit a feature request.

I just watched the video–great job. Question-watching the video I think Luke said (if I understood correctly) you can go to a different day, move the red line to a time for that day and you can get a fishing report for that day and time–correct? I tried this and it didn’t work for me. For a different day it keep giving me the same info for todays date and not the day and time later in the week. Hope this makes sense. Thanks, you and the staff are great.

Thanks for the tutorial!
I’ll try to make this question simple. To get the AI info, which provides all the data to fish a “Smart Spot,” what if I’m NOT fishing a “Smart Spot?”
In other words, if I’m fishing an area that IS NOT a “Smart Spot,” can I still get the AI info/data where I am fishing? I assume the app always knows my exact location (from my phone). Can I “click” somewhere on the app, and it will provide the AI info/data wherever I’m at??
Thanks

Luke, wear a coach’s headset and a lanyard with whistle. A quick look, and I thought you were seated next to prop master, Jim Harbaugh. The “tiny snook” comment was classic and hilarious!!

Great info guys! Lived in Fellsmere, part of Vero bch and fished everywhere from Ft. Pierce to Mosquito lagoon for 22 yrs! Fresh and salt. Love that area, you were in, boat ramp at Oslo provides a little less trafficked area. Also on the barrier island, south of where you were, try Round island Park! there are islands and flats from the ramp, all the way to the spoil islands, that produce a lot of great catching, while providing a very cool area to explore! Lots of places to catch a lot of fish! Brings back some great memories. Thanks!

Good morning, Daniel! You can always check the app store for updates. Also, both Google Play and Apple Store offer auto-updates, if you prefer that.
